RosesByDesign is one of Europe's leading floral retailers, providing personalised roses and rose petals for special occasions, corporate events and romantics throughout the UK and Europe. Launched in 2005 by Mark Pearson, this new and vibrant company needed some way of getting their unique products noticed in a marketplace already bustling with florists and floral designers.

RosesByDesign was entered into the Kyotee directory as a Priority advertisement, and has enjoyed the additional traffic and sales generated. We asked Mark how well he felt we had done for his business:

Kyotee: How would you describe the service you have received from Kyotee so far?

Kyotee is a must have in my eyes for any new or established business that is based in the UK.

Mark: Since our business has been inserted into the premium section of Kyotee's Business Directory we have seen an increase of traffic and sales.

We received quick and reliable assistance when signing up for a listing and I remember because we are a bit of a niche business classification the Kyotee staff were quick to create unique categories for us.

I started to notice traffic within days of being listed with Kyotee.

K: What sort of response have you had from your advertisement?

M: We have had a steady flow of targeted traffic from UK customer who are looking for information and products from exactly the classifications we have been listed in on Kyotee.

Being listed on Kyotee has also enabled us to be listed within the top 3 results on the first page of the UK's number one search engine Google for the majority of our key search terms. This is something we could not have achieved alone, but because Kyotee are recognised by Google as a quality business directory, it seems they are quick to find new links and list them within their searches.

Customers can then email your business directly using Kyotee's online form.

K: How does advertising on Kyotee compare to the effectiveness of other advertising mediums?

M: The value of Kyotee's Priority listing is fantastic compared to the costs of other methods of online advertising. Kyotee is a must have in my eyes for any new or established business that is based in the UK.

Kyotee can probably bring any UK based business targeted traffic for a fraction of the price of PPC (pay per click), email advertising or affiliate marketing.

We have been very pleased with the results that being listed on Kyotee have given us.

Kyotee have a Google Page Ranking of 5 which is looked upon from Google's search engine point of view as a very high quality link, so this can do wonders for your own site listing.

K: Do you feel that advertising on Kyotee has been worthwhile, and why?

M: I view Kyotee's Business Directory as one of the best UK directories to list your business; they have a quality easy to use site that is good on the eye and easy to navigate. All businesses listed are not lost in a list of hundreds of other businesses like other directories. Kyotee have a quality directory, which really helps out all types of businesses. I believe that that without being listed in Kyotee's directory our business would have not grown at the pace it has. Kyotee has helped us with site traffic, sales and search engine listings.
